This is an online self-study English course which benefits from Tutor Support. Regular tutor feedback is provided at the end of each Unit to increase students' awareness of their academic strengths and weaknesses.

About this course
I can understand short, simple texts containing familiar vocabulary including international words.
I can understand clear instructions.

I can ask and answer simple questions about home and country, work and free time, likes, and dislikes.

I can discuss plans with other people. For example: what to do, where to go and when to meet.

Speakers of other languages who want to improve their level of English
Learners must:
1. have access to a PC and fast internet connection.
2. be IT literate.
3. be 16+ years of age.
4. commit to a learning/assessment schedule in order to complete the course successfully. Estimated study time per week is around 8 hours, including tests and tutorials. Note that this is only an estimation, the actual study time will depend on the individual.
be A1 Users/CEFR= have completed Entry level 1 or take our Placement Test.
Qualification exams at A2, B1 and B2 levels can be booked at additional cost.

Additional information
This course is suitable for candidates with (very) little knowledge of the English language (current A1 Users/CEFR) who wish to develop their language skills: you can read/write simple few word instructions, (fully or partially) understand/participate in short conversations, have an English vocabulary of at least 100 words.
