This level 4 course in Counselling & Psychotherapy in my view is an excellent next step in understanding therapy or working toward practicing as a therapist. It is presented in an easy to understand but comprehensive format that increases your knowledge and your desire to know more. They level of support supplied by the tutor is excellent and although criticism is, something that none of us enjoy fair but constructive criticism is necessary so that we can grow as individuals and as therapists and in this case, the criticism was always both fair and constructive. The course has been very useful to me this year. After failing to gain a place at University on leaving school Distance Learning offered me a second chance to obtain a place at University. My tutor was very good help beyond the maths coursework, offering studying advice and encouragement throughout the year. The notes provided are very effective in helping you gradually build up to exam level questions. I successfully gained a place at University after a year of studying A-level Maths with Open Learning (having Scottish Higher Maths to grade C before). It takes hard work and commitment to the course, but it's worth it in the end. I would advise this college to anyone in my situation and others interested in sitting and exams from home.
