I have not studied for over 20 years so starting home learning was a huge step for me. The course material I received was excellent and I found myself wanting to research more about the topics I was studying before any essays were sent in. Tom my tutor was fantastic always on hand if I had any queries. His feedback was excellent I learnt so much from him. I would definitely recommend Home learning, working at your own pace and gaining knowledge as well as receiving a qualification at the end of it.

I have found this course very useful,the course contents were very good. Everything I would need to know as a personal trainer has been covered in this course. I've enjoyed being able to work at my own pace, fitting it in and around work and children.Knowing that I had somebody I could email if I had a question or problem about the course, I felt that I didn't have to worry and could just get on with my work. I would recommend Distance learning to others.

It is presented in an easy to understand but comprehensive format that increases your knowledge and your desire to know more. My tutor was very good help beyond the maths coursework, offering studying advice and encouragement throughout the year. The notes provided are very effective in helping you gradually build up to exam level questions. I successfully gained a place at University after a year of studying A-level Maths with Open Learning (having Scottish Higher Maths to grade C before). It takes hard work and commitment to the course, but it's worth it in the end. I would advise this college to anyone in my situation and others interested in sitting and exams from home.

The course has been very useful to me this year. After failing to gain a place at University on leaving school Distance Learning offered me a second chance to obtain a place at University.
