This qualification is also appropriate for those who have already achieved other sector-specific qualifications in the healthcare sector who need to apply their understanding in a palliative care context.It also contributes towards aspects of the NHS Knowledge and Skills Framework in relation to the following ‘Dimensions':

HWB1 - ‘Promotion of health and wellbeing and prevention of adverse effects to health and wellbeing'

In order to gain the NCFE Level 3 Certificate in Palliative Care, you will need to complete a portfolio on the following mandatory units:
- Unit 01 Understanding palliative care
- Unit 02 Supporting a person's needs in a palliative care context
- Unit 03 Supporting a person with their physical care needs
- Unit 04 Care during the final hours of life and bereavement care

What can l do on completion?
Evidence gained from this course can be used towards order awards; the award also provides progression into a number of other qualifications in Health and Social Care
