General equipment is provided for all classes. However specialist equipment, materials and colours etc have to be purchased by the individual.

Career Prospects and Progression

The work is planned to develop skills and confidence and enable students to progress towards the ABC Cake Decoration 139/2 Intermediate.

Health & Safety Preparation & Use of Royal Icing Preparation & use of Sugar Paste/Almond paste

Method of Assessment

Students will be continually assessed throughout the course on their practical skills and portfolio development. The end of course assessment is through a multiple choice exam.
