WHAT QUALIFICATIONS ARE REQUIRED FOR THE COURSE?
Candidates must hold an NVQ Level 3 Advice and Guidance certificate in the new standards (City and Guilds course number 3069) and be working as a Guidance practitioner and managing a client caseload.

COURSE STRUCTURE AND CONTENT
The Level 4 qualification is made up of 8 units and is designed to enable those qualified at Level 3 to transfer some units to Level 4 (only units from course number City and Guilds 3069) and reduce completion time.

ASSESSMENT
You will be assessed through direct observation in the workplace, written accounts, project work and a complete portfolio.

WHERE COULD THE COURSE LEAD?
Achievement of the qualification may enable you to progress onto a higher education course.
