Is this course right for me?

This is an ideal qualification for individuals who wish to seek employment as an airport passenger services agent, or for individuals who wish to enhance their employment prospects in the travel or aviation industry.

What will I be learning?

You will learn about the role of the airport passenger services agent, airport knowledge and regulations, boarding procedures, disembarkation procedures, health and safety and communication. You will develop skills in customer service and problem solving.

How will I learn?

A combination of class based tuition and practical activities.

What else might I want to know?

Visits will be made to local airports and ferryports. On successful completion of this course you will be offered an interview with the Servisair Ground Handling Company based at London Gatwick/Heathrow airports. A fee of five pounds will be made for your portfolio. This course is for those working in airport passenger services or a related travel workplace - for example, ferryports, coach reservations, call centres.

You could seek employment in a passenger services travel related environment.
