Is this course right for me?

This is a practical course and we will even get you bricklaying straight away. You will learn the basics of brickwork and block work. You will also be able to get help and advice on any personal projects.

What will I be learning?

You will gain practical skills from sessions taught in the workshop. You will learn how to build basic walls, build isolated and attached piers, construct block walls and render walls. The course can be tailored to meet individual requirements.

How will I learn?

This is purely a recreational course, so there is no formal assessment process and no qualification is gained.

What else might I want to know?

You will need to provide your own protective clothing and footwear.
All tools are provided.

What can I do afterwards?

There are opportunities to learn othr trades within Construction with courses in Brickwork, Plastering, Painting and Decorating and Carpentry.
