Part Time C&G Bookkeeping and Accounts Level 1

Course Description:
This course is designed for those wishing to improve their knowledge and understanding of bookkeeping.

Content
The completion of financial documents such as:

• Invoices and Credit notes.
• The recording of cash and credit transactions in books of original entry.
• Preparing bank reconciliations.
• Understanding the petty cash imprest system and trial balances

Assessment and Progression:
Students' work is assessed via a one and a half hour exam, marked by the awarding body, C & G. Successful completion of the course leads to the award of a C & G Award in Bookkeeping & Accounts Level 1.

Progression
On successful completion of the Level 1 course, students can progress onto the Level 2 Bookkeeping & Accounts course.

Duration:
This is a 10 Week course.

Due to the short duration of these courses, there is a requirement of 100% attendance. Exams, where applicable, are scheduled for the final week of each course.
