Content The programme consists of a study of the IEE Guidance Note 3 (Inspection and Testing) and the Wiring Regulations (BS 7671-2008). Tutorial support will prepare students for the written exam and practical assessment. It is recommended that students with minimum practical experience complete the Pre Inspection course.

Assessment Four hour practical examination and a written test.

Career Prospects The N.I.C.E.I.C require Qualifying Supervisors in the Electrical Installation industry to have this qualification. Candidates may have opportunities for advancement with their own companies.

Other Information This is a short course aimed at people who will become N.I.C.E.I.C Qualifying Supervisors. It is assumed that prospective students will have some experience of electrical testing and a reasonable knowledge of the IEE Regulations. All candidates are advised to discuss their suitability for the course prior to enrolment. If candidates are not practising inspection and testing, they should complete the pre City & Guilds 2391 Inspection, Testing and Certification course first. Delivery may be amended to facilitate external exam requirements. NO FEE REMISSION ON THIS COURSE
