Course Description
The course provides the students with knowledge of testing and commissioning electrical installations.

This qualification is a pre-requisite for becoming a J.I.B. approved electrician.

Course Structure
The course will run for 10 weeks, 3 hours per week and is made up of a mixture of theory and practical sessions where students will work on specialised test rigs.

Course Entry Requirements
All learners will need to complete an application and interview prior to enrolling.

Applicants must be a qualified electrician with experience of testing electrical installations and also possess the City and Guilds 17th Edition qualification.

Course Progression
There are many engineering courses available including higher education courses.

Course Career Prospects
This qualification will assist successful students in gaining approved electrician status and Part P.
