Is the course for me?
Are you currently working within the construction industry? Do you wish to gain a nationally recognised qualification which will aid you to move into a supervisory or technical role? If you have answered yes this course could be right for you. The B.T.E.C. National Award in Construction is a one year qualification which runs over 34 weeks, attendance is one day and evening a week. The course is fully recognised by the construction industry and providers of Higher Education in the UK.

What will I learn?
You will gain a wide range of knowledge across the construction industry. The following units are studied at Warrington Collegiate: Health, Safety and Welfare, Construction and the Environment, Science & Materials, Construction Technology and Design, Mathematics in Construction, Surveying in Construction.

How will I be assessed?
You will usually be assessed by a combination of written assignments and time controlled assignments.

What can I do after the course?
Succesful students may progress on to the Higher National Certificate in Construction.
