Applicants must be over 23 years of age. It is strongly recommended that the applicant is over 25 years of age. All applicants should be practising counsellors and have professional body accreditation or be working towards accreditation. All applicants must be undertaking supervision as part of their own ethical and safe practice. All applicants will be interviewed by tutors prior to admission and acceptance on to the course will be dependent on a successful interview.

Course Content
The main aspects of the course deal with: The supervisor relationship. Working ethically in the role of a supervisor. Culture and diversity issues that impinge on the supervisor relationship. Agency settings and their role in supervision.
Course Aims
This course is designed for applicants who have completed a higher level qualification in Counselling of at least 450 hours and have at least two years of supervised clinical practice.
Special Features
The course involves a large amount of practical role plays. 90% attendance is a mandatory part of the course
Assessment Methods
Completion of a personal learning record, case studies, assignment, supervisors reports and feedback from tutor and peers.
