Is this course right for me?

This course covers intimate hair removal using various waxing techniques. You will learn to consult with the client, prepare the waxing service and produce a treatment plan. This course is ideal for those who have an NVQ 3 Beauty qualification.

What will I be learning?

This unit is about removing hair from intimate areas using various waxing techniques. You will learn how to consult with the client, prepare for the waxing service and produce a treatment plan. You will also need to provide treatment advice to the client, particularly around the avoidance of certain activities and home care advice.

How will I learn?

You will be required to practise on each other and bring their own models. You will be continually assessed throughout the course by way of direct observation, oral questions, written tasks (projects) and final written tests. You are required to register with VTCT and purchase an assessment logbook.

What else might I want to know?

This course is for those wishing to extend the range of waxing treatments they can offer their clients. This course is only suitable for experienced therapists and is ladies only.

What can I do afterwards?

You may wish to increase you range of hair removal treatments and consider the Diploma in Epilation. If you already have an Epilation qualification how about Diploma in Skin Blemish Removal or Stone Therapy.
