Summary:
This is the required qualification for anyone who is teaching in the learning and skills sector. It is the initial Teacher Training Award designed to meet the new standards developed by the Sector Skills Council, LLUK (Lifelong Learning UK).

Full Description:
This course explores practice and theory relating to teaching in the lifelong learning sector, including assessment, evaluation, managing learning behaviour and curriculum issues.
Throughout the course, literacy, numeracy and ICT skills are included as part of the award. By the end of the course (to achieve QTLS) candidates will have to show evidence of achieving Level 2 qualifications in Literacy and Numeracy (GCSE grade A-C or equivalent) and professional formation.
