This course forms the underpinning knowledge necessary for the motor vehicle NVQ level 3 and is intended to run parallel with that course.

Development of the diagnostic skills required for a range of vehicles

In depth training to equip students with the knowledge to carry out diagnostic tests and repairs.
Career Prospects and Progression

On successful completion of this courses, students may be able to progress to the IMI Level 4 Diploma for Automotive Master Technicians or with suitable bridging in maths & science to Higher National Certificate/Diploma level.

Entry Requirements

Successful completion of the level two certificate and NVQ 2 is recommended for level 3 but relevant industrial experience may be taken into account.
