Course content:
This one day, specialist, course will examine some of the many different, traditional and contemporary styles of window treatments that designers use.
By the end of the day you will
-Have examined some contemporary and traditional design trends
-Have identified different design trends and construction techniques in fabrics, trimmings and accessories
-Have identified different design trends and construction techniques for hanging and suspension
-Be familiar with different window designs
Measure a window
-Calculate amounts of fabric required for a design style
-Recognise the different hanging
-Be aware of currents costs involved in the industry

Course Structure:
Whole class presentations, group and paired discussions and practical exercises
