What will I learn?
* Principle Learning - this will develop selected knowledge, understanding and skills relevant to hair and beauty, using realistic work experience. Learners will discover the six industries within the hair and beauty sector: Hairdressing; Beauty Therapy; Nail Services; Spa Therapy; Barbering; African Type Hair. * Additional or specialist learning - These options will allow learners to tailor their programme according to their interests and aspirations. This may include specialist units, for example; hair colouring techniques, nail extensions, tanning, or additional learning from outside the sector. Young people can also opt to include GCSEs or A Levels * Generic Learning - this will ensure all students cover the common skills needed for successful learning and future employment. Including Maths, English and ICT.
