Is this course right for me?

If you are an adult wishing to revise or update your reading, writing and speaking skills to give you confidence to deal with everyday situations, this is the perfect course for you. Classes are friendly, informal and fun.

What will I be learning?

The course is individually based and may cover a range of topics related to your individual learning plan. Each session will last 2 hours and the course will run for 10 weeks.

How will I learn?

Through a mixture of classroom teaching, worksheets and IT.

What else might I want to know?

You will be assessed at the end of the course by a multiple choice test for a National qualification in Literacy at Level 1 or 2.

What can I do afterwards?

Learners can progress onto further National Literacy qualifications, an Access to Higher Education course, a vocational course, or a GCSE in English.
