Students must be able ot read and interpret written tasks, make calculations, write answers and complete documents in a legible and understandable form.
Although no floristry experience is required, students should have a genuine interest and commitment to pursue a career in floristry.

Developing practical design skills and emphasising the fundamental principles of floristry and retailing, this course is an ideal stepping atone to more advanced qualifications. Ideal for budding florists of any age, you will gain the knowledge, skills, and techniques necessary to cope with the day-to-day responsibilities involved in a floristry shop. Within this course you will also benefit from a minimum of 5 days work experience in a florsitry shop. This exposure to real-life situations will dramatically enhance your learning and enable you to understand the different situations a florist encounters.
