About this course
There are no formal entry requirements, but as the NVQ is assessed you must either be in paid or voluntary work in an Early Years' environment that offers you suitable experience and the chance to demonstrate the necessary skills. You will also be required to attend an informal discussion at the college to discuss your individual needs.

Course Details

Units of study: 7 in total 201 - Contribute to Positive Relationships 202 - Help to Keep Children Safe 203 - Support Children's Development 204 - Use support to Develop own Practice in Children's Care, Learning and Development 205 - Prepare and Maintain Environmnents to Meet Children's Needs 206 - Support Children's Play and Learning plus 1 optional unit appropriate to your work role. Attendance at underpinning knowledge sessions is essential. You will be allocated an assessor who will assess you in your workplace by observing you carry out your daily tasks and duties.
