Is this course right for me?

The course is aimed at people with an interest in the electrical sector who want to update their knowledge to be able to safely carry out the inspection and test of portable appliances and record the results.

What will I be learning?

This course covers the construction, inspection, testing of electrical equipment. The recording of the results and the test equipment used. It also covers practical experience of carrying out the tests and recording the results.

How will I learn?

You will learn by guided learning within dedicated electrical classrooms and you will need to complete City & Guilds On-Line Multi-Choice exam and an assessment.

What else might I want to know?

You will be provided with relevant course materials but you will need to provide Code of Practice for In-service Inspection and Testing of Electrical Equipment, a simple scientific calculator, pens, paper, and perhaps a highlighter.

What can I do afterwards?

This course is a good basis to build on with any further electrical courses especially the City and Guilds 2377-001 Management of Electrical Equipment Maintenance.
