Course Description
These programmes further develop the essential craft skills and underpinning knowledge for the craft of the plumber or the heating and ventilating engineer. Skills and topics include design of systems to meet customer needs, specify and agree programmes for implementing systems, install and test components, commission and decommission of systems, Health and Safety, maintain effective working relationships, contribute to quality development and improvement of product and design. Site-generated evidence is essential for the successful completion of the programme. In order to obtain the full NVQ Level 3, learners must also undertake the ACS CCN1 Domestic Gas Safety assessment at an additional cost.
