Introduction
This is an advanced course for experienced childcare practitioners in Pre-schools, schools and nurseries. The qualification would be an advantage for anyone aspiring to supervisory positions within childcare.

This Level 3 qualification will explore how to 'Promote Children's Development', plan activities to meet the requirements of the Early Years Foundation curriculum, identify what is 'Best Practice in Pre-School', and working with children with special educational needs. Students will be required to support their course with personal study. The course enables students to share experiences and to develop good practice.

Duration
The programme is delivered over four terms, one day per week, 9.30 - 2.30 pm.

Method of Study
There is a range of teaching methods including practical workshops, lectures and assignment work. Attendance in college one-day per week and at least 150 hours in an Early Years Setting
