About this course

Minimum age requirement for entry is 18. Evidence of an interest/involvement in play or art activities. Successful completion of an introductory course in counselling of 30 hours or evidence of appropriate prior learning. Acceptance onto the course is through an interview.

Is this course for you
This course is designed for workers in the caring profession who already work alongside children and adolescents and or have some previous counselling skills training. It is appropriate for those people wanting a sound grounding to the principles in counselling young people. The certificate, awarded upon satisfactory completion of the course is accredited by Play Therapy UK. The course will equip participants to progress to further in-depth diplomas in counselling or specialist Play Therapy courses.
