Course aims:
This qualification is suitable for those who work or want to work as specialist Numeracy/Maths teacher in the lifelong learning sector.

• have already achieved a full level 5 teaching qualification, or equivalent, allowing them to teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector, but who would like to qualify as a specialist teacher(full role) in Mathematics(Numeracy)
• are working towards a level 5 DTLLS

• Approaches to Maths learning and teaching
• Theories and frameworks for Maths learning and teaching

Facilities for students:
There is a comprehensive computer suite in the Connaught Centre and a full learning suite at our main campus at Pelham Tower.

Entry Requirements:

• Candidates must have access to 75 hours of teaching and teach across a minimum of two levels.
• DTLLS or equivalent or working towards Level 5
