Is this course right for me?

This NVQ has flexible start dates and an average duration 3 - 6 months. You must be working in waste management operations or street cleansing.

What will I be learning?

6 mandatory units and 4 additional units all related to different aspects of waste management.

How will I learn?

Training days and assessment in the workplace as required.

Your assessor will complete a skill scan with you to confirm this NVQ is suited to your job role.

What else might I want to know?

This NVQ is fully funded if you work for a small business (less than 250 staff) or are volunteering to develop relevant skills and meet the Train to Gain criteria.

What can I do afterwards?

Upon achievement you will be awarded an NVQ Level 2 certified by WAMITAB.
You can progress to Level 3 qualifications if you work at a supervisory or management level or alternative Level 2 qualifications.
