A very popular course! This evening course covers XHTML, Dreamweaver and an introduction to Photoshop. On successful completion of the course, you will achieve a Level 2 City & Guilds Certificate in Web Design

What will I be learning?

During the course you will:

• Develop an understanding of XHTML
• Plan a website
• Create your own website
• Layout the pages using tables
• Style your site with CSS
• Modify and optimise images for the web
• Understand file types and sizes
• Upload your site to a webserver

You would start by learning XHTML until you are competent at producing linked pages. Then we learn how to produce a professional looking site using Dreamweaver, with the added ability of being able to edit the HTML code. We also do an introduction to Phtoshop as part of this course.

How will I learn?

You will be assessed via a practical assignment which is set by City and Guilds
