Thames Gateway College Information:
This course runs at Thames Gateway College at CEME.
Duration :One year full time (36 weeks attendance Sept to July)
Who the Course is For:
Candidates who intend to start on a career in Engineering.
Assessment:
Assessment of the skills attained during the course will be short practical tasks carried out in the workshop, which are assessed by the tutor. Tutor marked work books will be used to provide evidence of workshop basic theory required by the awarding body. Student produced portfolios will be assessed by the college and EAL.
Course Leads To:
National Vocational Qualification Level 1 in Performing Engineering Operations (City & Guilds 2251 Certificate). Successful candidates may progress to Performing Engineering Operations Level 2 or any other related trades
