Who is this training course for?

Our course is tailored for all medical professionals interested in acquiring or wanting to improve phlebotomy and cannulation skills, such as: nurses, doctors, health care assistants, laboratory technicians, other health care professionals from NHS or non-NHS and anyone who is interested in enrich their career in phlebotomy.

Objectives


To understand and adhere to the proper protocols, procedures, codes of practice relevant to phlebotomy and cannulation. Also, to become aware of policies for infection control, health and safety related to the task of phlebotomy and cannulation.

Our training course also aims to teach candidates how to draw blood from patient avoiding causing pain or discomfort and showing empathy. By the end of the course staff will have an understanding of anatomy and physiology related to phlebotomy and cannulation and be confident in the use of blood collection equipment.
