What is the course about?
This course is designed for people who have recently bought a digital camera and want to get the best out of it.

What are the course outcomes?
Increase understanding of digital photography. To gain confidence in using digital cameras and understand the practical and creative aspects. The course will cover the use of camera controls and basic photographic principles. The practical aspects of downloading and storage of images to a computer. The course will also cover the creative aspects of digital photography and basic image manipulation.

Are there any additional requirements?
Materials. Must own a digital stills camera (not a video recorder).

What are the Course Outcomes?
A portfolio of images produced during the course.

How will you be assessed?
By examples of images produced during the course.
