This short course is to develop Team Leaders understanding of effective planning and monitoring of work. Participants will learn how to work within the organisation's policies, procedures and priorities. They will build an understanding of how to plan and allocate work. The course also covers how to monitor a team's work

The course will include:

ü Causes of conflict and incompatibility between targets/objectives in the workplace.

ü Distinction between policies and procedures.

ü Working according to organisation's objectives, policies, procedures, and priorities.

ü Methods to monitor actual performance against production targets and time-scales, and identify variances.

ü Recording outputs/variances/actions.

ü Types of quality standards and their purpose.

ü Quality checks/inspections v standards.
