Course programme
This is a full indepth course enabling the learner to develop techniques whilst gaining unit accreditation towards an industry recognised qualification.
Develop Internal Plastering Techniques to include:
- Reading and understanding drawings
- Selecting materials for internal work including sand, lime, cement and gypsum plaster
- Selecting hand and power tools and ancillary equipment including whisks and mixers.
- Preparing backgrounds including high and low suction, solid and applied.
- Mixing plaster materials and apply and finish one and two coat work to solid and applied backgrounds.
- Forming external angles
- Health and Safety, Internal Plastering Theory
Additional units can be added at the end of the course to enable to learner to gain the full Level 2 industry recognised qualification in plastering.
