About this course

Employees should be working in an appropriate play work setting. A letter will be required from the manager confirming their status and role and that they support the employee†s attendance on the course. Candidates will be asked to take a literacy assessment.

Support the protection of children from abuse.
Contribute to positive relationships in the play setting.
Support children and young people†s play.
Contribute to health and safety of the environment.
Contribute to the work of the team.
Deal with accidents and emergencies.

Additional Units :
Contribute to healthy eating and personal hygiene.
Escort and supervise children outside the play setting.

After this course : Employees can develop their roles and responsibilities at work.

Cost : This course is offered under the Train to Gain programme and is free to individuals who meet the eligibility criteria for the Train to Gain programme.
