The Programme
This assessment programme seeks to develop the skills already gained at Level 1 and allows students to progress in their chosen trade of Plumbing and Mechanical Engineering Services. The theory and practical assessments develop the skills and knowledge required to meet plumbing industry standards, and when combined with work experience/employment may provide the opportunity to gain an NVQ 2.
The Technical Certificate/NVQ 2 is the minimum qualification recognised by the Plumbing Industry.

The Programme Content
The programme comprises 60 practical assessment tasks, 11 multiple choice online module exams, 1 online end exam, Key Skills Level 2 in Communications and Application of Number.
