Course Overview
What does the course involve?:

This course will provide you with the knowledge and practical skills to be able to meet your statutory requirements.

The course covers:
• understanding the legal requirements for the maintenance of portable and transportable equipment
• knowing how electrical equipment is classified and constructed
• determining the frequencies of inspection and testing
• carrying out formal inspection and testing of electrical equipment and complete meaningful records.

Various days, 9.00am - 4.00pm

Are there any exams?:
The course includes a practical exercise. You will also be required to sit a City & Guilds multiple-choice one hour on-line examination in addition to attending the course. This examination is designated open-book and you will be required to extract information from the Code of Practice for In-Service Inspection and Testing of Electrical Equipment (3rd Edition).
