About the Course
During the course you will develop your skills in a variety of media. You will have the opportunity to work from both short and more sustained poses. Analytical and more expressive ways of working will be developed.You will be encouraged to explore and increase your awareness of other artists' work related to the human figure from a variety of cultures and historical periods.
Course Aims
To produce a portfolio of life studies in a variety of media at advanced level. To increase confidence and enjoyment in working from the life model.

How is the course assessed?
There is an NCFE qualification for this course. Continuous assessment is provided throughout the course by the tutor with external verification at the end of the course. Successful students gain a qualification in Life Drawing and Painting.
Bring own materials otherwise a small charge of £10.00

No Course Fees for Under 19's. Over 19's must pay, or claim Level 2 or Level 3 Entitlement for FREE courses .
What next?
The body of work produced will complement a portfolio of art related studies. This qualification will be suitable for enhancing your application to an Art Foundation Course.
