Skills of Life and Work - Adult Studies
Prepare to Teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector (PTLLS)(2010/2011)
Study Method:
Mainly lecturers, employing a variety of intertactive/participatory formats, including micro-teaching
Duration :One evening a week for 12 weeks.
Who the Course is For:
This course is designed for those who are new to the sector, and or those who wish to train to become a teacher within the Lifelong Learning Sector. This is the minumum threshold award,and provides the basic framework for teaching within the sector. This qualaification leades on to the Certificate and Diploma years.
Assessment:
You will be assessed on a continuous basis throughout the programme, including micro teaching.
Course Leads To:
DTLLS Year one, if the award is achieved at level 4, and obtaning employment in the sector.
Entry Requirements:
To have a level 3 in the specailaist subject you would wish to teach to others , and attainment of Literacy and Numeracy Skills to at least Level 2.

Content:
