Course programme

The Primary Education (Part-Time Progression Route) - PEPR - offers a two-year, part-time route to Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) for those working with children in an educational setting. This pathway enables candidates with a Foundation degree or other equivalent qualification in a relevant area to top up to an honours degree whilst working towards QTS. The programme is aimed at students who work, on a paid or voluntary basis, with children in educational settings and wish to gain Qualified Teacher Status. It is intended for students who have already gained some Higher Education credits in a relevant area through previous study.
