Course Description/Aim
In order to compete successfully in the growing media design marketplace, web developers and content developers who design websites, computer based training and web based training products, need to present dynamic multimedia solutions. As a rsesult of this there is a demand for professionals with proficiency in the latest techniques for web enabled multimedia and product visualisation.
This hands-on course provides students with the knowledge and the skills necessary to deliver attention grabbing interactive products. They will gain experience of intergrating audio, video and animation into their content development.
You will be able to:
- Create interactive cutting-edge websites with multimedia content
- Design and develop Shockwave presentations with Macromedia Director
- Design dynamic splash screens and interactive interfaces using Macromedia Flash
- Build new media elements including 3D animations
- Convert existing multimedia content into streaming media presentations

- Pre Production : Introduction to Multimedia through to creating Websites
- Production : From scriptwriting and editing through to authoring multimedia CD-ROM applications
- Post Production : Research & Development through to disribution techniques
