Standard entry qualifications for the Certificate in Education include either a professional qualification equivalent to NVQ3 or above, an Advanced Craft Qualification or HNC/HND. Candidates qualified to degree level will be offered a place on the Postgraduate Certificate (PGCE). As these are in-service courses, applicants must have paid employment teaching in Further Education.
