About this course
This Masters award is a taught award linked to continuing professional development with a focus on practitioner research. Participants on the in-house programme will normally be employed by the University of Central Lancashire or in an associated HEI or college of FE and will have demonstrated ability to cope with Master’s level study either through APEL or previous qualifications, eg PG Certificate.

Course programme
To gain the MEd, you need 9 modules (8 at Level 7). The PGDiploma is gained from completing 6 modules, which can build on the PGCert in FE, or the PGCert in LTHE, or the PGCert Midwifery. The Masters then requires a Triple Masters Project in the final year.
Select 2 research methods modules, plus 4 options and compulsory Masters project.
