Course Content
This full time course offers advanced study in servicing, using up-to-date vehicles and rigs,interpreting technical information,repair,replacement and manual skills and health,safety and welfare in the working environment.
There are a range of learning options to suit student's needs and abilities:·Health & Safety·Engine systems diagnostics·Chassis systems diagnostics·Transmission systems diagnostics·Electrical systems diagnostics

Students need to supply boots, overalls, and two text books. These will be shown to you on induction.
This is a one year course where students attend college two days a week.
How will I be assessed?
Students complete four on-line exams and a number of practical tasks. It is also required that students complete basic/key skills to a level two standard.
What can I do next?
This qualification will allow students opportunities for employment within the motor vehicle service industry or to move on to other qualifications including Level 2 Bodywork course and Level 4 Automotive course.
