To have a clear philosophy on how to view extreme behaviour. A philosophy which allows positive and effective intervention to minimise its occurrence. To gain a clearer perspective on what you already do; seeing more clearly why some actions you take work and others don't. To be better at reinforcing others and be more aware of the positive actions and traits they display. To understand why consideration of the future is so important and to be able to ask constructive questions which have answers that nurture and develop people, rather than focusing on 'problems'. Suitable for: Mental health professionals including healthcare workers, support workers, registered mental nurses, psychologists, occupational therapists, psychotherapists
About this course
This is a “whole system” approach and as such registration is welcomed from teams of people from the same organisation. Course participants will have a clear philosophy on how to view extreme behaviour and learn a new approach to working with this behaviour. For the training to be useful and the philosophy implemented successfully, a team approach is essential. Please contact us for more details.
