Reflexology Course

This Diploma also includes the VTCT Level 3 Diploma in Health, Safety, Security and Employment Standards. This course is a mandatory part of all Holistic, Sports Therapy & NVQ courses. If however you have already gained this Diploma in the last 3 years you will not have to complete it again providing evidence can be shown.

This qualification requires the candidate to provide evidence of competence in the form of case studies or individual treatments to cover range statements, and demonstrate sufficient knowledge to be able to explain reflexology and provide it safely, effectively and consistently. Independent study is an essential part of this course and you will be required to complete both practical and theoretical assignments at home. Assessments will take place during the course and on the final assessment day.

Preparing for and providing a reflexology treatment
Reflexology points throughout the body
Relaxation and mobility techniques
Consultation Skills and after-care advice
Contra-indications and Contra-actions
Health and Safety

VR35 Prepare for and provide reflexology
VR160 Demonstrate consultation skills for therapy assessments
VR02 Support Health, Safety and Security in the Workplace
VR74 Support Employment Standards
