The primary aim of this course is to develop an understanding of RE in schools including its rationale and pedagogical approaches, as well as supporting subject knowledge development.</p> <p>What does the Teach RE Online Course include?</p> <ul> <li>Distance learning that you can start at any time</li> <li>One-to-One support from a tutor</li> <li>One compulsory module focused on rationale, research and pedagogy</li> <li>Two Modules of your choice which may focus specifically on subject knowledge and/or on application of subject knowledge in the classroom</li> <li>Opportunity to complete at different standards</li> <li>Certificate of completion</li> </ul> <p>This online course will:</p> <ul> <li>Initiate the subject knowledge audit to identify areas of weakness</li> <li>Provide online training on subject knowledge</li> <li>Release progress reports to your Hope tutors and a copy of the completed profile at the end of course.</li> </ul> <p>Stage 2: Living Faiths Subject Knowledge Enhancement (SKE) Course</p> <p>The Living Faiths SKE programme is a 6 day intensive course that will be focused on enquiry model learning in RE through visits to places of worship and workshop activity.</p> <p>“A real eye opener, this week has taught me so much about world religion.
