Course programme
Abuse is a violation of an individual’s human and civil rights by another person. Vulnerable adults, including the elderly and those with a mental or physical disability, are at a greater risk than others for all types of abuse, including financial exploitation and physical abuse. Early identification and intervention are crucial to ensure the health, safety and well-being of vulnerable adults. Vulnerable Adults Level 1 uncovers the facts and provides a way forward for identifying and combatting the problem of abuse in vulnerable adults.
