Course programme

Besides LAMDA (London Academy of Music & Dramatic Art), Functional Skills and Microsoft ITawards, the formal programme of study covers the newly espoused English Baccalaureate and an emphasis on Languages.

For non-optional Years 7-9, the student programme consists of 25 learning hours per week covering the Sciences, English Language and Literature, Mathematics, History and Social Science, Spanish, ICT, Mandarin Chinese, Spanish, Geography and Sports. An hour’s tutorial focuses on international and language studies in which individual research presentations are delivered to class peers. A Cultural Programme of Indian classical music, dance and yoga is available - above and beyond NLC’s broad enrichment studies.

The daily schedule runs from 8.45 to 4.20 with pre- and after-school provision if required.
