Course content:
The NVQ is based on the national occupational standards for supporting teaching and learning in schools
The Level 3 qualification will build on skills acquired on Level 2. It will provide opportunity to develop in a variety of familiar and unfamiliar situations in the classroom, using a range of technical skills. Candidates will be able to show that they can carry out self-directed activities under guidance and may have limited responsibility for directing the work of others. They will be able to apply knowledge and skills in a range of complex areas.

The course is divided up into several modules. Some are core whilst others are optional

All students have access to our fully equipped state of the art learning centre. This included free internet access.
Assessment:
The course is assessed by a portfolio of evidence; students will also be visited by an assessor to observe them supporting learning in their workplace

The fee where stated is an 'INCLUSIVE FEE' for UK/EU students. This fee includes the tuition fee, examination fee and exam board registration fee. You may have to pay extra for materials for the course. If you are under 19 years or you are in receipt of an income related benefit the course and exam fee is FREE. Students aged 60+ years pay 70% of this fee. Students aged 19+ will also have to pay a College Registration Fee of £30 (or £20 if you receive benefit) once per academic year.Materials costs:
