Have you ever wondered how the experts managed to get their gluten and dairy free cakes so soft, moist and delicious? If so, we will be revealing the secrets during this practical 3-hour workshop where you will discover how different ingredients work together to produce the best baking results.

Our gluten/dairy-free workshops consist of:

Bake, and take home, a versatile sponge cake which can be adapted into a victoria sandwich, lemon cake, orange cake, chocolate cake, cupcakes and many more…

An information pack full of hints, tips and recipes for successful and delicious gluten/dairy free baking, expert tuition and a chance to discuss with the tutor and other like-minded candidates any questions or concerns you have about your healthier lifestyle choice.

Special Requirements

Additional Equipment - Students will be expected to bring their own equipment or purchase some tools prior to and during the course as well as bring materials/ingredients with them each week. An initial list will be given out prior to the start of the course and subsequent specialist items required for certain weeks thereafter will be notified by the tutor

You will need to bring an apron/overall for all sessions and should you wish to, please feel free to bring your own camera along to take photographs of the tutor demonstrations and your own handy work on the day!

Special Education Needs and Disability - Short Courses Prospective students who have a disability that may affect their studies should inform the College as soon as possible. Regrettably the College does not receive funding for the provision of learning support for students with additional learning needs attending Short Courses, which are run on a full-cost basis.
