The instructors were simply amazing, a truly endless source of knowledge and real field experience, always with a great sense of humour to keep the hard work coming in a pleasant environment. As for how useful their training turned out to be afterwards, Every single piece of advice, every training exercise came back naturally and sure it helped me (and even my team mates) to, not only have the mission done, but enjoy doing it. Really, it's more than worth every single penny.

I think anybody would be hard pushed to find a more passionate and proffessional training provider, i really could not fault these guys they really have nailed it! A vast wealth of experience in the industry and a commitment to maintaining the standard of operators. The course itself was very challenging and you need to be prepared to put the hours in but the sense of acheivement at the end makes it all worth it!

Those who attended March 2011 course will know what that means and more importantly- who said that. I should say that the that Common Sense was the motto of the course, therefore it was more than useful. There was a lot of absolutely necessary info given to students not only to fulfill the roles of CP team members, but also to run the CP work: to include info gathering, planning and executing the mission. Another indeed great approach to teaching was this one: this is A way, not the THE way to do things. Humble, yet professional way to put the idea- and well respected by students. Speaking of whom: it was great pleasure to work with such a small team, who understood each other from half- word, without having had chance to work together previously. It is worth something. With respect to all participants and instructors, Ray.

Great course, I would recommend to any one wanting to take a security course, first aid, health and safety, Great trainers, you learn so much in such a short time. Thanks Guys :)

Absolutely loved it! Trainers very knowledgeable, informative and put you at ease throughout. A must for any female wishing to study and obtain an SIA licence without having any distractions or intimidation from men in this male dominated industry. You don't necessarily have to want to be a Door Supervisor to be on this course, more employers these days are merging job titles and requiring this licence now, therefore i believe it's not only useful but (to me) priceless!!!!!

I enjoyed the course very much, it was well executed in a comfortale learning environment. Over the duration of the course i was given all the information i needed in manageable amounts, and at no point did i feel overwhelmed by the amount of information that i needed to taken in. The career opportunity i will gain from this qualification makes this course value for money.

The accomodation was excellent, the food was excellent, the trainers were highly professional and motivated. The other students were a great bunch of lads and Ive made a few friends for life through the courses I choose. I will recommend NSC to anyone who shows an interest in a career in Close Protection. The value for money is second to none.

-
I would highly recommend this course so you get up to date or learn the real profession as a HE close protection operator. An excellent service and training establishment with outstanding courses from the NSC with the full value for money factor. It's the real thing not just talk, if you don't make NSC's grade which is second to none, you fail... there's no if's or buts', it's as simple as that! It's not only just what you've been trained it's how and by whom you've been trained which counts for you and recognized, respected prospective future employers who know that what I've learnt I will use.

Excellent course that challenges you mentally and physically. If you pass the course there is a tremendous sense of achievement and you are left in no doubt as to the attributes that will be required of you as a PSD operator in a hostile environment.

Steven Morrison uses his own experience of the doors with over 23 years and he still works the doors in Glasgow, but he uses our experience as well to cover the training to bring the course to life and make it hit home, especially the videos where you see what happens if things go wrong. Brilliant!
The physical Intervention course was absolutely brilliant as well, it made me think, but most importantly I would use the techniques I learned because they were simple to carry out and easy to remember.
The 2 course handbooks were brilliant, as well as all of the handouts I received, I can safely say I got my monies worth and a hell of a lot more, brilliant.
Pro Active Safety Training is owned and directed by Steven Morrison who is the guy who trains you as well. I would have no hesitation in recommending this excellent company to everyone else looking to have an indepth knowledge of the doors and the law of self defence. The trainer even shows you how to claim back money from the taxman for your sia badge. Their is ongoing support if you need it as well.← | → -
I have recently attended the door supervisors course with Steven Morrison who is a real life doorman with over 23 years on the doors. The course covered Working in the Private Security Industry, Door Supervisor Specialist module, Conflict Management and Physical Intervention Skills and the law in relation to Reasonable Force in Scots Law (which every doorman should know), It left me wanting more information on the subject. of self defence law, my brain it seems had just been switched on to something new and exiting as I found my self craving even more knowledge on the subject.
Absolutely brilliant course, and trainer, highly recommended.
Many thanks Steven

The course delivered exactly what it offered. The level was as I expected, challenging but not overly so. I learnt how to assess potentially dangerous situations and was taught how to diffuse them. A very valuable tool for both work and personal life. My job involves lone working and this was covered with some of my own specific examples. I now feel more confident in dealing with 'lone working' issues.
The course leaders were very friendly and helpful. The course was well- organised and I was kept informed. From the moment I enquired about the course the Company was quick to respond. They gave me enough information and guidance to enable me to choose the right course. They have a vast amount of experience in relevant fields. I would choose this Company again over other Training Companies for this reason.← | → -
